Awarded in December 2016 it was NCL Contractors commitment to completion for key dates, management style and set up that allowed this project to start with confidence.

How We Undertook The Project

Working within a live Healthcare Facility takes a professional and proactive Management Team dedicated to the project.

This was recognised by NCL Contractors from the out set and our tender bid reflected this commitment

Our Full Time Project Manager was based on site to ensure that all End Users and ancillary departments were consulted, considered and advised during the works.

The Project consisted of the refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing facilities to allow expansion and development of the services provided at the Community Hospital.

The Challenges Of The Project

Both Structural and M&E alterations were carried out to bring spaces alive and serviced in line with modern working methods and environmental requirements.

An example of exemplar management was how NCL Contractors successfully orchestrated Electrical shutdowns and change overs without effecting day time services.

At the same time providing the ICT Department reassurance that their servers, etc would not be disrupted during the project.

This was a challenging and enjoyable project throughout NCL Contractors achieved all 5 Phased handover dates in line with the Clients requirements.
